The Cooperation Agency has the duties and responsibilities of increasing cooperation both domestically and abroad. On this occasion, UNTAG Surabaya assigned the Head of Foreign Partnerships and several lecturers to conduct an Exploration of Collaboration at the National University of Malaysia (UKM).

the results of the meeting resulted in an agreement "So far the collaboration that has taken place is research collaboration in the media and communication sector. From this discussion, it was agreed to expand cooperation between the two universities. In the near future there will be student exchanges and lecturer exchanges. Two faculty level MOAs have been signed , namely between the School of Informatics WU and FISIP Untag Surabaya, also between the School of Informatics WU and FT Untag Surabaya"

during the visit the Surabaya camel delegation was welcomed by representatives of Yala Rajabhat University: Aleeyah Masae (BIPA Coordinator), Hasbulloh Nadaraning (Head of Malay/Indonesian Language Education Study Program), Manavavee Mamah (Head of Malay/Indonesian Language Study Program), and Muhammadsukree Hayeesani (Head of English Language Study Program). The plan for cooperation between the two parties is to hold guest lectures or seminars online. After that, it is possible to exchange lecturers or students if the MoU between the two universities has been signed.

2023 This visit was based on the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (MoA) and implementation discussions by Walailak University with the head of the undergraduate study program (S1) which can collaborate with units or study programs at Walailak University.
